Absolutely can't go wrong with this hotel. Really good value rooms with very comfy double bed, excellent black oit curtains and powerful shower. Booked the family room (4 of us) for £52 so was excellent value for a Friday night. Very well located with mega Sainsbury's, petrol station and ferry next door. Only reason for a 4 instead of 5: the breakfast buffet (which we had booked in advance) had ran of food really early on (9am) so was chaos ;-) Slightly out of the Premier Inn's control as it's a separate restaurant but as we had bookd through a Premier Inn deal, I feel the hotel should really have a word with the adjacent restaurant and tell them to up their game :-)

Stayed here for the Brighton match and for waking in the South Downs. Ideal location, 10 mins walk from train station and regular bus service into Brighton and beyond. Despite having a problem with the TV on the first night due to the rain, the friendly, efficient staff compensated us with a WiFi code and free breakfast. The room was clean and comfortable and we had a very pleasant stay. Would definitely come back to this one again when in the area in the future.

No problem at all with anything, only thing I'd say is make sure you have a jumper on at breakfast in the cold months, served in the Brewers Fayre next door, the dining room was very cold. Great breakfast though!

Really handy Premier Inn for the ferry port with local amenities nearby such as Sainsbury's in walking distance (including fuel station). I stayed in a Premier Plus room for the first time anywhere. The room was very good (NB rooms are upstairs). Comfy chairs, enhanced supplies such as coffee machines and mini fridge with water. Enhanced toiletries. There were a few issues which were too late at night for me to go and sort then and there. The spare pillows were either mouldy or dirty so couldn't be used (reported this morning). The TV didn't work last night due to weak signal it said, it did work this morning though. I think some deep cleaning/bleaching would be good around the bath taps and also the shower screen guard strip as they were really black. General cleaning standard was good but I think Premier inn need to periodically allow time for a deep clean. Also, I think things like the pillows should be part of a weekly check. Plenty of free parking (register in hotel). All in all on this occasion the Plus room was only a few pounds more and was worth it. I also took advantage of a special email deal to get free breakfast which is a good one to look out for. I'll review the Brewer's Fayre separately but despite some poor reviews, we had good food and service. I would stay again.

The hotel was really good, they changed our room for a ground floor as my partner forgot to mention her disability when she booked. The reception staff, Michaela and Jake were very friendly and great with our autistic son who was overly excited as it was his birthday. The room was clean, beds were comfortable. I can’t complain for the price. Only bad point is the breakfast, food was fine but the poor girl working in the restaurant seemed to be by herself, but she did a great job.

Room was extremely comfortable, blackout curtains and quiet. Bed was clean and very comfortable. Cleaning needs more attention to detail, for example, there was mildew on the grouting and the base of the shower screen needed a good scrubbing.

Best place for the ferry. Staff are very helpful. The pub alongside is fine if you're careful in what you order. Have the calamari - some of the best I've had in the UK
